I have a 24p mixed timeline (AVCHD and Cineform). It doesn't render correctly.
When I render a clip, every other frame is transparent or black (other programs).
This only happens with Cineform rendering to Cineform. AVCHD to Cineform is fine. Rendering to another codec is fine. I can only "fix" it doing 3 things.
1. Saving as TXT and using vegas 8. All of the settings don't stay (ie reverse) and it crashes on mixed avchd/cineform clips.
2. Using the vegas 8 template I made which removes audio. Editing it or copying its settings + audio doesn't work.
3. Rendering to 24 frames not 23.xxx
Its also randomly forgetting the PAR of certain clips and I have to keep setting it manually. Sometimes it leaves a little bar of empty at the right of the clip for no reason when previewing. I'm getting pretty fed up with this NLE, I really wish Avid supported cineform already. Anyone know what the heck is going on and if I can do anything to fix it? I've gotten all of my clips out between the 2 but this is a very tedious workflow. My computer is pretty fast at 3ghz and 4gb of ddr2 1033.
