Vegas 9 64-bit support

[dcol64]

Does anyone know if Vegas 9 has improved Vista 64-bit support over Vegas 8c? This would be my primary reason for upgrading. Is it worth it?

I haven't try it, since it still doesn't support 32bit plugins/codecs properly. It doesn't worth it for the kind of tools I need.

Vegas 9.0-64 is significantly more stable and functional than Vegas Pro 8.1 for me.

As for plugin support, many plugins DO work in the 64-bit versions of Vegas. For example, all the NewBlue plugins work fine. Scripts like Excalibur and Ultimate S work fine. But I'll agree there are many that do not.

Red Giant is working on it. I am going to be doing some Beta testing for them.
