Vegas 9.0a Released

I must say...the biggest improvemnt is with AVCHD 60p footage. No more green screens and screwing up frames. Worth the update for sure.
 
Skilled, you see an AVCHD import feature? my 8.0 has it, not on my 9.0 (haven't upgraded yet)...
 
if 9a can render video with a heavy motion blur applied without crashing, I'm getting it.

No...it will not have it. You can just import it like any other format. Vegas is doing well with 60p provied you have power under the hood. And 64bit is really a must. I have fond the best render is media player 11. It supports 60 frames per sec. Here is my last creation.

When you use the regular import does it copy it from the card to a destination you want and rename the clips with the HEX code on the end?
 
No!! I have made this mistake, by importing from the card. It will edit slower because its pulling from the reader instead of the HD. And when you click on your project file to open your saved poject you must have the files on your card again..or it cant find them...or worse if you formated your card. So...the best way is to just copy them to a fold on your drive and import from there.
