Vegas 8 - no transitions/video effects??

Hey, I just installed vegas 8 pro trial on vista and it works great apart from there are no transitions or video effects! I have tried re-installing but to no avail. Are the transitions only in the retail version or do you think I've done something wrong? I checked the download isn't corrupt but it's correct because the file I downloaded is the same size as whats on the vegas webserver so it isn't inclompete or anything.

Remove all previous related Vegas apps, re-install the app and they should be there. Something went bad in your installation, there are plugins and transitions on Vegas Pro 8 just fine.

hey Corey did you get it to work?

did you have to uninstall Vegas 7? How about other Sony apps? Did you have to un-install those too?

Eugenia, did this happen to you? Care to help me out?
