Vegas 7

so does vegas just not support the hvx in general? or just the HD? if who own a hvx and use vegas what have you been doing?

A long, long time ago I was given some pretty fair advice:

"Take the cash and let the credit go."

I think that goes along with "trust us"

If doing work for free and having a commercial enterprise use it for gainful commercial purposes is gratification, I'll take a pass. This theater chain wants a lot for little if nothing - a commercial and policy trailer to be played prior to their feature attraction. This would cost them thousands upon thousands of dollars to produce through an agency.

It's unlikely that the end-product will have credit cards or any other indication of who the creator was. [EDIT] The flyer indicates the filmmaker will be credited within the projected piece. ***

Maybe I'm missing something? All I'm saying is call a spade a spade.

I have to agree , I cant believe someone called this life changing. I highly doubt that lol .

Sony might be rope-a-doping.

Sony might be rope-a-doping.

For all those people bellyaching about what Sony didn't do...Even though Sony hasn't really said much at NAB..it might just be a marketing tactic...If you know poker..you don't want to show all your cards up front..just give them some time to reveal their intentions..Maybe they are ready and waiting for the right moment to spring us all the new features. The "I want it now and hit my head till it hurts tantroms" need to be controlled. Hopefully version 7 will address the questions...my 2c's.

I'm a little disheartened, as I'm about to buy either V6 or wait til 7. Yet this delay in announcing 7 could mean a lot of new features, upgrades etc that simply take longer to develop!

Its more a function of delays in releasing Acid----They are a little behind on their normal development cycle. I suspect that in the Fall, we will get XDCAM HD support and some other tweaks.
