Vegas 7 Program- should I load onto external harddrive or comnputer??

[Alan Bradley]

excuse me if this is a weird or possibly dumb question- but I just got vegas 7 and I am wondering where i should load the program on to. i mainly use my western digital harddrive for storing my video. would it be better to load my vegas program onto this external harddrive or would it be better to just load the program onto my laptop? is there any clip loading advantages to having my video AND nle on the same harddrive? thanks.

No, you want to keep your software and your data on separate drives, separate channels.
