Hi Killfilm,
I am sure it will be easier to handle the workflow better I.E realtime preview and cutting with correction filters but the word is not yet solid on the 64-bit release as it has not yet been ...well released and another word is that it won't be seen by consumers like us until the fall, so by then nobody can really tell.
By the same time AMD will have released their 4 x 4 rival to intel and looks like a good contestant we can also expect to see Intel looking to hold onto their top ranking quad hold over AMD. It's exciting ain't it.
YOu can bet though that within the next six months Vegas will be a major force in the PC editing world. It's versitility and edge for realtime editing with effects over the like of Adobe and FC should be enough to keep us content for a while...especially with HD footage.
