Vegas 6

Is it worth the upgrade if I'm not using HD? Are render times ect any better.

What are you upgrading FROM? 4 or 5?

If 4, absolutely. AB-SO-LUTE-LY. (4 does HD, too, BTW)

If 5, it's not nearly as much of a step up, but it still has better render times.

I would be comming from version 5. i guess I'll hold off for now.

The project nesting is pretty slick, and I've already used that feature more than once, which has saved time & is convenient. It's also around a 20% faster render ... other than that, I've not really noticed any other benefits (there are more like the project/media library & organizing, but I've yet to benefit from those myself).

I'm upgrading from 4 and looking forward to it! So, is there a drastic diff in the rendering times w/ 6? Can't wait!

The synchronization feature was PRICELESS on editing Siren (www.sirenthemovie.com) That feature alone made it worth the upgrade.
