Vegas 6 problems with film effects....

Hi folks,
I just installed Vegas 6, moving up from my Vegas 4 version. I installed the newer version on a new computer, (Sony Vaio- desktop). However, when I try to use the film effects video event FX on Vegas 6, and enable scratches, hair, jitter, etc. and adjust the levels of effect, the "film effect" image it produces is static- and doesnt "move" like the typical film effect should. The "scratch" lines, hair, dust, simply stays in the same place the whole time. Has anyone experienced this? My guess is there is some setting on the new computer I have not set right, but thought Id ask for help. Thanks-

Hi Jubal,
Thanks- Ill try that. But a few more questions:
the new computer is not hooked up to the internet- I can set it up with a dial up connection, but one that would be very slow and Im sure will take several hours to download Vegas 6- yet still "doable".
But, and forgive my ignorance here, is it possible to download Vegas 6 without paying for it, since I already purchased a version on CD-ROM?
Ill explore the Sony site and try to download it, but just in case, any other thoughts out there?

You can download the update free of charge and it'll work just fine as long as you have a licensed version installed on your machine.

Thanks guys- I used the link you provided Jeditdv, downloaded, copied to cd, then loaded on my new pc. Works fine! Thanks again- Ill be sure to mention "The people on DVXUser.com" in the credits on this production!
