Vegas 6 not psd compatible?

Hi, I've been using Vegas 6 for a few months. Yesterday I tried importing jpg but all I got was 'Cannot import, file corupted...blahblah' Then I made psd with Layer1, backdrop removed. Normally, when I imported that kind of file in Vegas 5 my image was placed on the footage and I had no problem because in psd there was no backdrop. Vegas 6 won't do the same. It shows image with white backdorp, as if I flattened the image i Photoshop. I tried Properties->Premultiplied, all given options but nothing works. Image is still 'flattened'. Is it possible that Vegas 6 cannot handle psd's as Vegas 5 could? And why? It was the best feature ever :)

Personally never had a problem with Vegas 6 working with .psd files. hmmmmmmm, don't know what to tell you.

vegas 6 can handle psd great. i use them all the time are you creating your psd using cmyk if you are they will give you a white backgroud they need to be rgb.

Also you can export out of photoshop as png. it will be transparent as well and not as big as psd file.
