I've seen that message once, could be a few reasons for that;
most likely the file (MisFire.dll) is corrupted,
so first check if the dll is in the 'Magic Bullet Editors Vegas' folder after install,
do not re-install on existing installation, uninstall and install again,
if you keep installation files zipped, re-unzip and try again,
and if nothing works send me your email, I will send you a copy of MisFire.dll from my install, it's a big dll , almost 10Mb, but almost all email providers support that size of attachment these days,
unless ur super lazy magic bullet is dumb to me. It takes a long to to render using it plus just use ur own creativity and mess with what the look you want, theres nothing you can just do your self.
MB plays in real time and renders quite fast if you have one of the supported graphics cards for GPU acceleration.
I find the MB presets to be a good starting point that I can tweak to suit my footage and the effect I want. Can't see that it's any more dumb than using any other video fx presets. People tend to spend their time where they feel they get the most return, and if their main interest is in other aspects of editing then using the presets is a great time saver.
Hi! Same problem here.
I've searched the web with no luck, so I've used my ancient powers as developer, and now I've just registered this forum in order to post somewhere my knowledge about this issue. Hope it'll help some human beings.
Fixed this way:
- Find (using Google), download, unpack (if packed) and copy to Magic Bullet folder, these two DLL files; msvcp70.dll and msvcr70.dll
- Then open a command prompt and run "regsvr32 misfire.dll" (deinstall and install again may also work instead.)
