Vegas 5 sound volume keyframe

I just jump from Premiere to Vegas 5, in premiere it was super easy to had keyframe in the audio timeline to play with the volume... but it Vegas it's seam's imposible.

The only way I found to drop the volume of a audio file (let say a song) it's to split the audio film the adjuste the volume.... the you can hear the quick volume drop down, no fade here.....

Can some one help me, I want to get full control of the audio volume on the timeline using audio keyframe...

thanks

Re: Vegas 5 sound volume keyframe

You actually have to control this for the entire track.  Insert an audio track, right click on the track and choose "Insert/Remove Envelopes -> Volume."  A purplish line will appear on the track.  Right click on the line and select "Add Point".  Now you have your first keyframe and the line can be shaped by the movement of the keyframes.  As you can see, this method makes volume control extremely dynamic and powerful.

Hope this helps

You can also double click the "purplish" line. Further, each audio clip has it's own volume control/gain. Just place the cursor pointer at the top of the audio clip, click and pull down.
Press V to insert volume on a track, press P to insert a Pan envelope on a track. this is just like rubber banding in Premiere.

Doh, you're right, Spot. Shortcut Keys! I always take the long way to do this stuff. :-/
