Vegas 5 FX...

I have been using Vegas 4 without any problems. Now I have upgraded to Vegas 5. It seems that everytime I add an effect to a clip it creates some sort of envelope that changes the effect over the duration of the clip. Is there any way to disable this feature so I can just click on a clip's fx button and simply add an effect to the whole clip?

It sounds to me like you have inadvertantly added keyframing to your FX. Go to the bottome of the FX pop up (the one that comes up when you click the FX icon in the clip) and remove all of the keyframes across the timeline.

Thanks kmcgrath. The keyframe window was hidden at the bottom of the screen so I didn't even know it was there. Once I expanded it I could see a whole load of keyframes.
