Supposedly Sony will unveil Vegas 5 as NAB tomorrow night. Right now there is a $50 rebate for anyone who purchases Vegas 4 as well as a FREE upgrade to Vegas 5 when it's released. My question is, does this free upgrade apply to academic versions as well as standard versions? I don't wanna buy the student version of 4.0 and then have to shell out bucks for 5.0 a month down the road....
