Vegas 5.0d

[scharky]

Wow, I didn't even realize there was a C. It looks like they added support now for HDV editing. I can't believe that they are already on version D of vegas. It seems like just yesterday I was working with version D of vegas 4. I can't say much about Sony's camera division, but the Vegas division is on the ball.

Re: Vegas 5.0d

I checked not four days ago and the latest update was B. Weird.

Re: Vegas 5.0d

I just checked it a couple days ago, too. Damn they move fast! Thanks, Vegas!

Re: Vegas 5.0d

I have 5.0b, and didn't even know there was a 5.0d until I just read it here! Anyone know what the significant differences, enhancements, fixes, etc are for version d?

Re: Vegas 5.0d

And, it seems, DVD Architect 2.0b and Sound Forge 7b.

Oooooh, I feel SO up-to-date now.

Re: Vegas 5.0d

Yeah C added the HDV support but they found a bug - so hence the D.

If you own Vegas 5 you can get Cineform Connect HD for $149.95 and capture and print-to-tape on the Sony camera, JVC camera AND the JVC D-VHS (which is what I'm doing) I don't have an HDV camera but converting 720x480 DV to HD. WOW really makes my little 1 chipper look great.
