Vegas 4 Acting Weird

hey guys
i was just wondering if you guys no what the problem. Well here it is... i downloaded this one music video and for some weird reason. Vegas told me that the file cannot be opened. I'm currently using Vegas Movie Studio 4. the file that couldnt be opened is in windows media player format. can you guys help me out? try it yourself...download the video below using my link and see if your Vegas can read it. please reply quickly though. i'm kinda in a hurry to find this out.

I don;t believe this file is Downloadable. It is just a plug for WM to open; llike a shortcut to the link so to speak.

Am I wrong?

i was looking for one across the whole internet yesterday and i think i searched so much i got some kinda spyware virus. and i think that acually could be it...that its a link to the real thing online. thats really weird. i downloaded it directly off the website it was on and when i right clicked on the link, it said that it would download it as Windows media video. you guys dont have to try to look for anything if you dont want to. i'm a christain and the the music video you just saw was a christain one so you most likely never saw it. plus the only better version you can get is for one dollor off of iTunes but i dont want to buy it.
anyway, thanks for the time saver guys, cause otherwize i would have stayed here all night trying to figure this out. i'm not really that great with programs

The ASX file is a metafile that links to the real file. It often is used in this manner to prevent people from actually downloading the file, but rather only allows them to stream it.
 
thats it! it was an asx. file! we kinda figured out that it was a link to the real thing but i was trying to figure out what file type.
