I have windows 7 64bit and Vegas pro 9 64bit
can i use vegas 32bit so i can use magic bullet looks?

Thanks..

I sure do... works great. BUT, you will need to finish in 32bit because if you take that project back to 64bit after applying MB Looks, it won't recognize it.

so i can uninstall 64bit vegas and install 32bit vegas an do same with the magic bullet.?

and it will work on my 64bit w7?

thanks so much...

I mean magic bullet doesnt work with 64bit vegas so ill uninstall both and install 32bit vegas and 32bit mb on my 64bit w7..

that will work right?
so i can use the mb plugins.

Thanks

one other question when im in vegas my video has the black bars on each side of the video its so annoying...

I tried everything i can think of..

any ideas?

64bit Vegas is faster at everything. I'd do everything there until you need the MB looks plug-in, then close 64bit and open 32bit and load the same project. Or you can just uninstall if you want. Whatever works for ya.

Change your project settings to match what you have on the timeline, and the bars will go away.

gotcha thanks so much..

so i can have a 32bit and 64bit of vegas installed at one time?

Nice imma install my 32bit vegas right now.

Darn, I was hoping to use my Magic Bullet sampler effects in 64 bit on my new laptop. I guess I do need to install the 32 bit version as well... :(

Is this a common issue with 32 bit add-ons? I have a couple of other 32 bit thingies I haven't got around to reinstalling on my new machine yet.

What do you mean by add-ons? Red Giant (people who make Magic Bullet) haven't ported MB Looks to 64 bit yet. It's not just a Vegas deal. Most of the Vegas plugins work fine in x64. But a couple don't.

can you name some good ones?
i really likeed the mb looks in vegas 32 bit alot cuz of the film effects n stuff..

what other ones are good plugins??

thanks

I was talking about the plugins that come with Vegas. But NewBlueFX also make some very nice plugins that work with Vegas.

Woooo glad I read this...I just bought a new 64 bit quad core PC and have Vegas pro 9 64 bit and was going to use MB for it also.....so guess I'll have to install both VEgas versions then.

PerroneFord, are there plug ins near to the quality of MB that work for Vegas 64 bit? Or should i just stick with Magic Bullet? Thanks dude.

NewBluefx has trial versions you can tryout. about the black bars, unclick the "maintain aspect ratio" in the properties page and they will go away....

I haven't used any others, nor am I aware of any. But that doesn't mean they aren't out there.

LOL i just downloaded the MB looks trial and realized duuuuuuuuuuh, remember it doesnt work with Vegas 64 bit.

When, however, i do install Vegas Pro 9 32 bit, how do you access the MB plug in?
