Vegas 10 Production Suite vs Premiere CS5

This may sound like a bad comparison, or question but let me explain. I have been using Vegas for a number of years (since version 8) and currently have Vegas Pro 9. I built a new editing computer a few months back and didn't reinstall 9 due to knowing that an update (version 10) was on the way. In the meantime I had a friend buy CS5 Adobe suite and wasn't using his Premiere License so I installed it and have been trying to pick it up for the last few months. Now Vegas 10 is out and released....

My problem is that I don't have material to produce or edit everyday, and found that CS5 is much harder for me to jump back into after not using for a month or so than Vegas was, and the two are different enough that Premiere has me missing Vegas a little.

Is the $129 Vegas 10 Production suite complete enough that I would possibly be happier buying it, or should I continue fighting with CS5 and try and buck up and learn it?

work with what your comfortable with unless you have a client that requires you to work within a certain NLE. I only say this because you cant really compare vegas with any other editor - different UI, different workflow, ect.

Ibcon,I do not speak fluently in yours I language, but... I use it !
I a usual Ukrainian uzer, am a lot of video of editors, but you divided for myself Vegas Pro without the slightest fluctuation and doubt!
Continue to improve the knowledge in Vegas and you receive huge open space of actions and possibilities, other videos editors will simply fall in your eyes in due course... It is the best video the editor from existing which has collected in itself advantage of all!
For a minute do not doubt that use Vegas!
Vegas the best!
You need to work over knowledge Vegas!

Excuse for clumsy knowledge of your language!

A work flow of cutting in Vegas Pro and finishing in CS5 might be a good initial phase. A few others on here seem to like the results of that. I like everything in the CS5 suite except for Premiere interface (since version 5), so that is the route I would consider if the Vegas limitations caused me to hit a wall.

What restrictions in Vegas have resulted you in a wall?
I probably have not absolutely understood a question...
