Vegas 10 media generator button

This feels like the dumbest question I have ever asked online, but I'm stumped:

Was the generated media button on clips on your timeline removed from vegas 10? Ive searched online, but I cant figure it out. I can make generated media, but in each clip there used to be a third green button above event pan/crop. For some reason, its not there in 10, but it shows up in 9

Any advice yall?
 
expanding the track height doesnt work either. Dont know what it is. It work on text media but there is no box on video and pics
 
There's no button on video or pics; it's only used to edit Vegas-generated media. Anything you import won't have it. (True in every version.)
