Vegas 10 + AF100 footage = smooth?

I'm interested in hearing from anyone editing AF100 footage with Vegas; mostly with 1080p. Do the clips play well in the timeline? Choppy in preview, good, best modes? Anything at all that you can share as I'm interested in the camera.

Been editing native AVCHD in Vegas 9 for a few years now....no problems at all. Here's the latest with the AF100:

This was 3 video tracks & 5 audio tracks, I preview while editing in 'Best - half' and it's always smooth. Windows i7 930, 12Gb ram.

No problems -- Best (Full) 1080p playback, full speed. W764, i7 950, 12 GB triple-channel.

A friend of mine uses the HMC150 and told me about slow playback with the AVCHD files in Vegas. His computer is up to speed so naturally I was concerned. I've been using the HVX for a while and shooting 1080 for the longest time. Thanks, guys.

I started using AVCHD on Vegas back in version 9 and it was a bit choppy most of the time so i preferred to transcode the files to DNxHD.

Now with Vegas 10 i can edit them right out of the camera perfectly unless i stack like 3+ effects on each clip.
