Hey Guys,
I'm working with a graphic designer friend of mine to create a logo for myself/my films. We have the logo done, however I am trying to figure out the best way to incorporate it into my videos. He drew the logo up in Adobe Illustrator and I told him I would begin working with more high resolution video in the near future (from SD, to HD, to 4k, etc) and want to have a file that would work at any format. He suggested using a vector file. Would I be able to drag and drop this type of file into my timeline and have it work? or would FCP6 not know what to do with it? I am hoping someone here has experience with vector files.
Also, what way does everyone find best to incorporate their logo? usually it will be set to a black background, however depending on the project it could be overlaid to video as the background. Do people find a solid fluorescent green the best method? or is it better to have the background transparant (if possible)? Thanks guys.
