VDB Pole - Is this the old style or new please?

[Lucas Adamson]

I just bought this VDB XL 5.5m boom pole on eBay.

Can anybody tell me if it's the new or older design VDB please. I have read that the older design is much more desirable for some reason.

Did I get a good deal? £290 delivered. Condition is supposedly excellent. It sure is very light at 690 grams for a 5.5m pole!

OK, so it's the new type with a red foam heel in place.
