Varying colors in a kit?

I just took some training on lighting interviews and have spoken to a few manufacturers to gain a little education and it seems some like to use a bicolor LED on fill to be able to add warmth through varying the temp. Others like to use a tungsten fresnel as a rim light with daylight flos or LED's.

I am just curious how you might mix things up in your light kit.

Also, it seems people talk about Flos and LEDs as seperate paths. Do any of you mix the two?

It all really depends on your taste.
I shot a limited room talking head green screen yesterday using daylight balanced 4x55w biax w/grid as key, 2x55w biax w/grid as fill, 1000 bi-color LED w/minus green gel as backlight, and 2 4x55w biax lights running 1 bank each as green screen lights.

depends on your taste and the room and even the subject or subject matter

but yeah, in general i like to mix it up when i can
