I need help before I totally lose it with this thing - I bought the Varizoom rocker w/ zoom controls for the HVX. A lot of the time it works great, however, the iris control is bad. I'm not sure what is wrong with it, but it will either work or it won't, even if it's plugged in. It will change from camera iris control to rocker iris control in the middle of a shot, multiple times, back and forth, and it's starting to cost me shots - last night, shooting a live event, I have a tight shot on the singer and then the rocker switch decides to take control of the iris and closes it in the middle of the shot!
It's over a year old (I bought it last April) so the warranty's off, but is there something i can do about this? I don't want to spend $250 on a new one every year.
