I've got an HPX250ej and 4 HPX171e
Used the Varizoom RockDVX zoom controller for about 3 years with my HPX171e Never an issue. Loved it.
Started using the HPX250ej about 8 months ago and then my RockDVX finally died. I purchased a new one.
I notice when starting a zoom in... the zoom jerks. sometimes it stops momentarily... sometimes it speeds up momentarily. I tried the same slow zoom with the built in rocker on the camera.... no problems, slow smooth zooms. I did this on ALL 5 cameras. And the Varizoom "studdered" intermittenly on ALL cameras. So i contacted Christian at Varizoom. He sent me a new one. Well..... this new one does the same exact thing.
Anyone else having a similiar issue with a new Varizoom RockDVX ????
