Quite frankly it looks pretty weak in comparison to a dedicated tripod por stabilizer.

So, basically, it's a Flo-pod that they attached a small pro-sumer tripod to? I'm kinda stumped as to the application. The moment you deploy the legs, it's a fixed camera. No fluid head on it, so no panning or tilting. Was the goal to let you have a convenient way to set the Flo-pod down? For $500?
