Varicam + Digiprimes.

i'm going into prep for a short i'm DPing with a varciam and digiprimes (6-24 zoom, 40 and 70).

can anyone recommend any scene files or paint box settings for me. i want a nice sharp and contrasty image.

lighting includes: lots of night ext, little day ext, lots of night int. will be going with some reds and yellows, and blueish/turquoise for night.

pckg includes: 4k hmi, 1200 & 575hmi, kinos and a tungsten kit.

In regards to Scene Files, just make sure you have Film Gamma turned on, as well as your knee, and I like to turn the detail down a hair, maintains the sharp resolution, but looks a tad softer, more like film.

I would shoot pretty much "zeroed" out to maintain as much information as possible, and then color grade everything to get the look you want in post.
