I know there's a lot of talk right now about variable neutral density filters but I can't seem to find a solid answer on a question I have.
In still photography circular polarizers are able to give more saturated colours. Variable neutral density filters, as I understand it, are two stacked polarizers.
Will using a variable neutral density filter give more saturated colours like a circular polarizer? If not, would a circular polarizer work if stacked in front, or behind a variable neutral density filter?
Thanks in advance.
