Vancouver shop recommendations

I just moved into North Van. What's the best place for gear in the city? I'm going to rent some stuff from Cineworks eventually but I'm dying for some grip and camera basics.

Lorne Lapham is the best. they have tons of gear, expertise and won't screw you over. I go there for all my gear:

There's also ProVision Video. They are a little too chatty but they have a lot of gear and decent prices. I go there for all my tapes and smaller items:

A lot of people go to Leo's Photography but I find they don't really know much about video - like the name says they are more still photography.

There are some other ones as well but they mostly cater to larger companies and don't really want to talk to you unless you are buying a LOT of gear at once.
