Off to Vancouver for Holiday (just over a week) any good ideas on places to go and what to see?

best in town... If he doesn't answer the door, just hassle him until he does
get him to cook you his famous Emo Veggie Burger

but ya, Stanley Park, and the Nude beach near UBC is a good start :thumbsup:

and walking down East Hastings is a good experience too... you'll appreciate what you have more
 
Hey Kovarova...You might want to take in Granville island market, Gastown and Grouse mountain for the great gondolla ride to the top. Canada Place where the cruise ships dock is cool too. On a clear evening as the sun is setting, try to get to the top of something high like the Empire landmark hotels revolving restaurant and have dinner while pondering the beauty of the overall city. While your sipping your wine, don't forget to look to the southwest at the beautiful volcano, Mount Baker, that can be seen in Washington state. Have fun...
