Hi all. I received much gracious help on trying to determine options on a gasoline powered Ford Transit Van.
Now I am down to whether or not I need to get the factory dual batteries and HD alternator.
HD Batteries: 70 amp hours each and absorbed glass mat.
You can get a single standard battery (NC), single HD battery ($125) or dual HD batteries ($295).
The HD alternator is $260.
I know some people add dual aftermarket batteries etc. but I am trying to determine if this factory equip is something I should get.
In the future I want to be able to run a laptop computer in the van, charge camera batteries, drone batteries and maybe power LED lights, so an inverter will be a later addition.
