I'm in the process of upgrading to HD, and I've got an HPX500 on the way, so i'm committed to DVCPROHD, however I'm not sure which editing hardware system to go with.
I am PC based (with Adobe Premiere CS3) so i know that rules out AJA, however I have a client who is would love to see me go MAC (if they only paid for it!) so i would like something that is cross platform. Now, I don't do much work in the field or with a lot of other camera systems, however I am considering portability as a small factor.
Which would you choose and why? I've searched a bit and read about some of the differences on here and dvinfo.net, however I'm more looking for experiences of others.
