I just came up with this idea when I am browsing other option to power my laptop on the set without wall outlet.
Is it possible? depends in the spec it looks very close:
V mount 14.8v (gonna need some battery support 6A and up)
My laptop1 16v @4A, laptop2 20v 6.7A

I have been running gas generator AC plug to the laptop charger so far, but it very heavy to transport and noisy.

You'll need a beefy boost converter. A better option is to use Block Batteries. They can output 28.8 VDC.

Is there any risk using a boost converter? Sorry I am not a electronic engineer.
The block batteries looks huge and expensive though.

Mind to point a link how to link 2 vlock in series? It would need to step down the voltage too?

Everyone of the filmakers should have Vock batteries, It is obvious that I couldn't find anyone try to power the laptop from google.

This is wasteful, but buy a decent 12 volt invertor and plug in the regular power supply. I would probably run two V mount in parallel to make sure I had enough current, and also figure out how much current was needed by the laptop power supplies.

Thought about something along the lines of a Duracell Powerpack?

There are a number of these type units available from different manufactures that start around $150
