V-Mount adapter for Sony F-type batteries

There was discussion in a thread on LED light panels that got onto the issue of battery power for the F&V lights.

Since this little adapter may be useful for other things needing power, I thought I'd post it here. Picked it up for $29.

Crappy video, but it's after midnight and I'm freaking tired. The heat and humidity of Shanghai knocks the crap out of me. Anyway, it provides a basic look at and info about, the product.

Here's a US company that sells them for $36 (thanks jixkk). And Amazon has F550 batteries (the ones I use) for just $10 each.

Depends on your use. The 550 batteries are rated at 7.4v at 2.5WH I believe. They run in series on this thing so it puts out about 15v total. If you're asking about the F&V lights, I'll have to run a test to find out. Just got it yesterday.
