Utility Cart Revoomendations

I was looking for a recommendation for a utility cart to carry equipment in and out of shoots? I was looking at the rock-n-roller cart. If so, what size?

I bought my first magliner in 1994 it has been beat, banked dropped...totally abused and it still works great. In that same time I have been through 3 rock-n-roller carts. I should have just bought another magliner.

+1 on Magliners. they are built like tanks and hard to beat.

Rock and Rollers are OK, but only the one with pneumatic tires, which I think is the biggest one they make.

I have the R12 Rock and Roller and I love it. Keep it small for the small loads and stretch it out for lots of gear. I have the shelf unit and use it on location for my laptop, mixer or whatever else I need to get to. You have to keep an eye on the tires because they loose air from time to time. All in all I love it. I've had mine for 3 years and counting.

I have two Rock'N'Roller (aka Multi-Cart) carts, an R6 with pneumatic tires and the R12NF "all-terrain" model with "No-Flat" non-pneumatic (I think they're filled with foam or something) wheels.

They've both held up well for the last five years or so. No problems with that.

The big wheels on the R12 make it much easier to handle over the varying surfaces I encounter, especially when dragging it across grass. I also strongly prefer the non-pneumatic tires on that one. They roll just as easily as the pneumatic tires on the R6 but I don't have to heft the cart up to my attic (where I keep my spray painting compressor) to fill them up every month or so. Consequently, I've kind of relegated the smaller R6 to "backup" status and only use it when I know I'll be operating mainly on smooth floors. Of course, there are lots of times I use them both on a larger job.

So, a thumbs up for the R12NF: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/664498-REG/MultiCart_R12NF_8_in_1_Equipment_Transporters.html

Not quite as enthusiastic about the smaller models. Magliners are also super, of course.
