Using Vector Artwork

I was wondering if Vegas supports any vector artwork such as Illustrator (ai) or CorelDraw (cdr) or even pdf? I noticed in the import list, it had "png" but wasn't sure if this was similar?

Reason I'm asking, was because I was doing a bunch of custom title graphics in Illustrator.. but I guess I could just do them in PHotoshop if nothing else is possible.

Oh... and if I do create stuff in photoshop, with my Vegas Video settings at 720x480, 0.9091 (NTSC DV), what type of workspace should I create within photoshop?

I'm used to web design and print, so I know what type of image size and dpi to use for them, but I'm not sure about video (Like, would I just make a document 720x480, 72dpi?)
 
I've not checked out the link, but know from experience it can/will import PDF's ... not sure about the others.
 
Additionally, you can make your images 720 x 540 and achieve same result, but since Vegas scales vertically (which it should, Adobe does this wrong for DV) you're better off doing it at the 655 value.
