using rca outputs to power headphones

Does anybody here use the rca audio outpouts to monitor their audio? I find the headphone outputs very hissy on the dvx. I assume one would need a portable headphone amplifier for this. Any ideas?
 
it is very hissy. i thought i could depend on my cheap headphones and i was suffering in silence :)

You Can Use Boostaroo Or Identical If You Without Mixer
Or Send The Output To Mixer Monitor In
 
HI Oleg. I looked up the boostaroo ( made in Oz where I live) and it just plugs into the headphone output of the dvx100. I was more thinking of a small device that plugs into the rca outputs of the dvx and then gives me a connector that I can plug the headphones in. I assumed that the rca output would be cleaner than the headphone output of the dvx100.
