Using Premiere's 'Auto Color' and 'Auto Tone'

Hi guys,

When I use Photoshop, in many cases I like to start with a simple 'Auto Color' and 'Auto Tone'. Often this brings good results and offers a good starting point for futher color grading.

I'm using Premiere CS6 and this program uses those exact same effects as well. But, unfortunately, when using them on video clips this usually introduces 'flickering' and strobing into the final image because it keeps 'auto correcting' every frame. And when things in the frame change, the auto color changes.

So, I was wondering, is there any way to stop it from doing that? Or are there any effects much like it, but that don't change?

Thanks!
