Using Plug ins

Is there an order of use when using plug ins? I mean should you do all your color correcting first then add the plug in or vice versa then tweak that look or does it matter? I am thinking about getting some of the Nattress plugins.

You can place your filters in any order you want. The same filters in different orders can give different results. It all depends on what you're trying to achieve. FCP renders filters from top down. It applies the first filter, then takes that result and feeds it through the next filter, takes that result and feeds it through the next, etc.

What ever works best. Plugins are all about helping you create a look. So what ever combanation in what ever order gives you the effect you are looking for that is your effect. The onlything that really needs to be put last is any matte effects such as letter boxing. So that way your filters don't effect the black matte of the letter box as well.
