Using mac laptop for projections, shooting them with 50Hz PAL camera

Hi,

We're shooting video background projections. We need to have the projector at 50Hz cause we're shooting 25fps. For some reason we can't change our Mac Book Pro's output to anything else then 60Hz.

Is this a video projector issue? How can we change the laptop to output 50Hz?

My UK Macbook seems quite happy replaying 30fps material into a projector or external monitor. Does your projector not lock to your MacBooks default setting? The MAC RGB setting seems to work nicely for me, with the adaptor to VGA for the projector - or have I misunderstood what you are doing?
