Hey guys,
Making a purchase for a law firm that will be doing interviews for web content. These will be client testimonials mostly. Also the lawyer's are wanting to do some mini commercials on their site too. I am using a spare office as a make shift studio so I am trying to find something portable (because I will be moving to a different office probably every couple weeks) and something that I don't have to worry about plugging straight into the wall outlet without affecting the rest of the office. I have been looking at the kit in the link below, please let me know your thoughts or if you know of something smarter... I know next to nothing about lighting other than a basic 3 point lighting setup so guys go gentle.

I purchased a 3 light kit from the same guy - almost the same lights, I opted to not get the dimmer version (instead it's got 4 banks, so you can switch off the 25% of the light with each one, also just a standard power plug not XLR). - if you go this route it will save you a couple hundred bucks. As far as the quality, the lights are not too bad, the color isn't 5500k, probably closer to maybe 5000k, but all of lights are the same so it's easy enough to deal with. The velco/sticker that is used to attach the reflectors to the barn doors is pretty poor, and have had a tendancy to fall off. Also the stands are pretty much the cheapest ones you can buy, so while not a big minus, if I were to buy more I would buy them without the light stands and get something better. All in all a decent light and hard to beat for the price...
