Using H4N mics wirelessly direct to HMC

I know this will degrade quality of sound BUT:

I would just test this myself, but if I could get some advice, I would prefer to do so before i go buy any cords or parts.

So, I have a
Sennheiser G3 Wireless lav unit
Zoom H4N
HMC150

what I want to do is hook the H4N to the Senn transmitter, and have it shoot the H4N stereo mics direct to the receiver, which is plugged into my HMC.

I hope that makes sense.

want to operate the camera, and have my soung guy just recording sound, near me, cordless. we shoot 'direct camera' style, and i would like to not worry to much about syncing audio if possible.

Thank you for any possible help.

The headphone output is really bad, noisy, sounds echoey when monitoring the live audio, and is not even close to the quality of the recording on there, so I would never use it to record anything from.

You could use it for a scratch track and sync it up later with the file recorded in the H4n though.
I would simplify it and just use the onboard mics of the HMC for sync and forget the wireless.

Hmm. thats what i thought - and usually do. I would just like a better solution then syncing in post. Its hard to find reference points at times - all good though.
Thanks!
