Using Gobo's for Logo projection

Anyone have experience with using gobo's for projecting a logo onto the wall of a corporate film set? There seem to be precious few options for gobo projectors out there, and I have little experience with this. Anyone have tips or advice to share? Will the LED options (like the American DJ projector from B&H) work, or will there be banding issues like a lot of LED DJ lights yield? Any specific models to recommend?
 
I have always used elipticals for this type of stuff, although I have never done anything like projecting a logo, but have used different patterns to put light patterns on walls, like to simulate sunlight coming through a window that the light is broken up by say a branch or shade..
