I want to save a FCP project I did at a Mac at school onto an 8 gb flash drive. The project is only about 7 minutes, but it's still about 9 or 10 gb. What i was going to do was bring my laptop and the flash drive, bring the capture scratch over first via the drive, then go back for the rest, thereby transferring everything over to my laptop.
Basically I'm doing this because I don't have the cash right now for an external harddrive and I need to do this TOMMOROW. The only issue is, my laptop is a PC with vista...I don't know if this will cause any problems with the flash drive or with the project files.
Does all that crap make sense? Should I be fine if I'm just sticking them on my PC harddrive and doing nothing else with them?
(P.S. I'm using a sandisk 8gb titanium cruzer. I know the u3 software can erase files when switching from Mac to pc, so I'll be getting rid of it first).
