Using DvRigPro and Century .07 WA converter

Given the extra weight of the .07 WA converter on the front part of the camera, and my understanding that the original DVX's had somewhat weak tripod mounting screws, does anyone know if I should add some weight to the back of the camera to counterbalance the extra weight on front, when the camera is mounted to a DvRigPro?
 
The tripod mounting thread in the DVX bottom is strong enough for the load, It can break when bumped, drooped or abused.
 
Iv'e had the camera loaded with about 15-20lbs of equipment with no problems, even on the DV rig pro
