Using computer monitors as preview monitors?

Has anyone tried this? I just bought a cheap 15'' flatscreen tv monitor as a preview and let me tell you that it sucks ass! I just realized its only 640x480 rez. SOB! Stupid me, I thought I had a steal. Anyway, I was thinking of using my 19'' computer monitor as a video preview monitor. Anyone has a affordable solution? I know I need a tv tuner but is there a simpler way? Like a SVGA cable to RCA?



PS: I stood in line today at 3 in the morning to buy this stupid thing only now to return it today. Stupid me!
