Using circular polarizer and mattebox

Hey everyone,
I wish to buy a circular polarizer filter.

I have a cavision 4 x 5 mattebox.

I'm wondering if I buy a round cp filter (to save money) would that be OK if I am also using a color filters out front in the mattebox. Or should I have the CP filter out in front of the color filters.

You would want a linear polarizer, Cavision's brand works fine if you're on a budget. The mattebox effectively makes impossible the use of screw-on filters - specifically those that require manipulation during a shot.
