Using "Brick" batteries

Is there anyway you could use "brick" batteries with the DVX100 via some sort of adapter? I know the bricks are expensive though...jus wondering.

Re: Using "Brick" batteries

I'm exploring basically the same thing. Here's what I've found so far.

Have a look at this:

G

It's $20.00 cheaper here than at the Panasonic website. Basically, it allows you to connect an Anton Bauer gold mount battery to the DVX-100.

You can also look at:
http://www.dolgin.net/DCConverterPan.htm

This allows you to connect just about any 12v battery to the DVX-100.

Also, the user OLEG offered this for my quest:

forget about the lamp , but 200w -14.4 v is equal to 400w on 7.2 , with little lose on conversion you can work weeks with th e monster
(the li-ion holds 90% charge for month)
not cheap but for long staing in places with out tha ac its nice
another benefit is the that thing less then 4 pounds

Hope this helps.
