I have an iPad2 and the Camera Connection Kit, because how the iOS operates it won't access another the SD or allow browsing, but I can copy footage I've shot on my DSLR onto the iPad and it plays back just fine.
Though it takes about 90sec to copy over a 3 1/2min clip, too slow.
Thinking about Jailbreaking and using iFile to access the SD card and watch the clip direct from the SD without copying it over, I know this works.
Only thing is I don't know if it will work with a 1080p, no idea if the transfer speed is enough or if the video will start to break up on playback.
So.... anyone tried this before? Don't want to jailbreak a two week old iPad if I don't have too.
