Using Adobe Media Encoder with good results?

Has anyone found settings that are acceptable using the export with Adobe Media Encoder to use on the web? I cant get anything that provides a quiality output at a decent file size, what are you guys doing for this?

The encoder in Premiere Pro (which is also used in Vegas I believe) is definitely not the best out there. It's only moderate. If you want small file sizes and high quality you will want to step up to a third party renderer like CinemaCraft Encoder.

What's your output venue though? You can get decent results straight from Premiere with the right settings.

I gave up on trying to get web outputs from Premiere with the headache I had in 6.5. The easiest way to get web outputs is to Export your timeline as a DV AVI file, import that into Windows Movie Maker, and just make a web WMV file. You have a tone of options, and the results are pretty good. Check out the Screening Room on my web page www.beyondtimemedia.com and you can see my results. All the files were done through Windows Movie Maker.
